Our Story
Dynamic Neck Stabilization Technology was born in 2015 out of the idea that there had to be a better way to mitigate the risk of injury to the brain, head and neck. The opportunity we saw was to pursue a better understanding of the anatomical effects of acceleration forces on the head, neck and brain. Our hypothesis was that if we can dissipate the acceleration forces experienced by the head and brain through the stabilization of the neck, the result would be a reduced stress and strain on the brain and a decreased likelihood that an injury could occur. In 2017 we begin research with the University of Waterloo, one of the worlds most advanced head, neck and brain research centers. In 2018, advancements in material science made it possible to support and stabilize without impeding range of motion. Our patent was secured in 2019, and over the last two years, we have been conducting testing and research to refine further and improve the collar.
